Claude Codgen dropped by yesterday, and he left us 5 sweet C.C. Rider longboards, personally hand shaped and glassed by himself, at his factory in Cocoa Beach, Florida. They range from 9’2” to 9’8” and vary in shape and width. For those who are not familiar with Claude, he is one of the greatest surfers to ever come out of the East Coast, and a member of the first group of inductees into the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame.  He was the second East Coast surfer to have his own California custom surfboard model in 1965.  It was the original C.C. Rider by Con Surfboards, designed for our waves. Claude not only makes great surfboards, he also continued to rip it up, surfing the waves at Cocoa Beach. Come by and check out real custom surfboards made in the U.S.A., not China, at our shop.  We also recently got in a shipment of “Jim the Genius” Phillips longboards from Oceanside, California, and some nice Hobie “Peter Pan Slugs.”

Of course, we always have a good selection of LSD long and short surfboards, shaped and glassed right here in Narragansett, by expert shaper Dave Levy. We are fortunate to have someone in the area, who can make you exactly what you want to ride. We are also an exclusive dealer for Rozbern Surfboards from New Jersey, and Chemistry Surfboards from Oceanside, California.

All our boards are made in the USA all the time.

Here are the fresh CC riders!
